The cover of the book is hard, but is wrapped in burgundy and navy blue cloth with gold-toned embossment. The front and back cover are in excellent condition, while the spine of the book has spots of wear and discoloration.
There are 228 pages in this book. Only one page is missing, and that is the front end page. All of the other pages have experienced some yellowing from age but are strong with no tears or markings. The binding of the book is also still strong.
Featured in the front of the book is a black and white head portrait of the author followed by a protective sheet of silicon. There are also three “plates” or pages that feature a printed image on a glossier piece of paper throughout the book.
