This wooden Cat’s Meow was made in 1998 in Wayne County, Ohio and distributed by Fair Tradition in Millersburg, Ohio. The design for this specific decoration was copyrighted in 1991 by The Cat’s Meow.
Cat’s Meow Village has been around since 1982 and is one of the most trusted makers of 2D art portraits buildings, landmarks and houses.
Represented on this Cat’s Meow is the front of St. John Arena. St. John Arena is a part of The Ohio State University’s athletic department and is where the men’s and women’s gymnastics teams practice and compete. It was the home of the OSU basketball team for 42 seasons before the construction of the Schottenstein Center.
Featured on the back side are the words, “ST. JOHN ARENA Dedicated February 25, 1957” “1991 THE CAT’S MEOW” “Distributed by Fair Tradition, Millsersbug, Ohio, 1-216-674-3881” in black script, as well as the signature “Jaline 98” in black cursive.
With no chips, cracks or scratches, this piece is in excellent condition! It only has a few spots of black marks along the back.
It measures 6” wide x 4.5” tall x .75” deep and weighs 5 ounces before packaging.
