VINTAGE POSADA DE LA VILLA MADRID, SPAIN CASTILLIAN RED CLAY PITCHER

• Vintage handmade clay pitcher 
• Made of rusty orange colored red clay with mustard yellow handpainted decorations with glossy top coat 
• In excellent condition, but note one tiny chip on rim
• Pitcher features spanish "Posada de la Villa - Cava Baya 9 - Madrid"
• Pitcher measures 4" wide x 4" tall x 3.5" deep

• This is a pitcher from an authentic Castillian restaurant in Old Madrid, Spain in a building built in 1642 as an Inn. The restaurant opened in 1982 and is still very successfully operating today, winning awards for its outstanding cuisine and service.  Many famous people have eaten there and many of their names are written on the chairs on which they sat.  Interesting, huh?!  So even if you can’t get to Madrid, you can still own a tradtional Castillian pitcher from there.
